Sorry if I gave you the impression that I was asserting CLQ would take any particular action.
Your writing style is such that you come up with an idea and then proffer it as the only way to go
Sometimes these ideas are sound but that is all they are, ideas I doubt RF reads your musing but then again I have been know to be wrong and so has RF.
What I try to offer is alternatives. I believe in the philosophy that you garner your options, My only fear is that I have not considered all the options and that an X factor will come along that will have an impact.
The more options you have the more likely you will succeed.
The "always keep your eye on the ball" business plan falls over when the opposition blindsides you and haven't got an escape plan. And its not always the opposition that you need to be aware of often it is more another persons ego.
    Back to Vanadium
This story was highlighted on TMT in a post by @LawyerTrader . https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...es-need-elon-musk-moment-to-kick-start-market
It would certainly support your line of reasoning. The post is worth reading  post  33281835 on TMT
@lawyer trader usually has well reasoned discussion with highlighted references.
AS for CLQ being a part of it in other than using the tech (i.e. ownership) I tend to get the impression that RF tends to not keep all his eggs in one basket. Imagine if this was the case when RF was chairman of Galactic Resources which operated the Summitville mine I personally wonder if RF was blindsided by another's ego in that case. The egg basket philosophy could also play a role in Ivanhoe's separation from CLQ. A clean green company doesn't need to be associated with some of the criticism being directed that way or simply the board of Ivanhoe just didn't see the vision.

    As for the telescope avatar.

It started out as a hand held sea captain's telescope and kept growing every time CLQ kicked a goal and is based on RF's comment that by 2020 or 2021 you are going to need a telescope to see the price of copper. I see that applying to Cobalt Nickel and Vanadium, but I have been wrong, and may not have considered all the options.
