Looks like it's a bad thing to have Vanadium.
Vanadium is not a contaminant for many graphite applications, but if they want to sell their product to the battery manufactures or spherical graphite manufacturers, Syrah will have to process the vanadium out. Vanadium is a known contaminant in lithium ion batteries.
