I've just completed a very detailed analysis using your Nearology theory. Using WKT as the epicentre I ran the model using a complex algorithm to derive the following finding.

Africa is just covered in graphite. The algorithm turned the whole of Africa grey as it moved from tenement to tenement converting all adjacent land and geological formations into graphite deposits with a hint of vanadium.

The lesson I've learned is to disregard the science. No longer will I ever treat a geological map with interest. No longer will I trust those cursed laboratories and their fandangled devices which clearly don't deliver accurate readings.
