I bought some of these long ago when GDY was a market darling and I decided I wanted some exposure to geothermal(bad decision!). I did a little research on the various shares in the sector and chose Ken.

But I have to admit to never having done the homework to discover what financial returns a power generator could generate.

So while I approve of Ken sitting on his hands and waiting while someone else figures out if enhanced geothermal acually can be done or not, I have no idea of how to value the Vanuatu project he is occupying himself with in the meantime. Will it offer anything more than tropical holidays for the directors?

So a hypothetical question: Lets say a fairy godmother came along and delivered to KEN, for free and out of the kindness of its little godmotherly heart, a nice shiny new 4MW conventional geothermal power plant in Vanuatu. What would the thing earn, as in NPAT?
