I've come to the stage of life where it's time to cleanup my act a bit and cut out some of the "less healthy" things I do. So smoking is on that list. I find myslef struggling to want to give up(smokers/addicts will know what I mean), I enjoy my smokes too much.

My vaporiser arrived yesterday so I've been playing with it and quite enjoying it and have decided to do a direct switch rather than gradual change over(I enjoy it that much that I don't find myself really wanting a smoke - so far at least, might be a bit early to be sure as yet).

Anyhoo, wondering what people have to say, particularly the medically qualified posters who may have access to more info on the health effects than me. Google tells me the UK health someone or other reckon it's 95% more healthy than smoking.

Anyone else vape? Did it help you quit?

I'm in a similar position, reluctant to try giving up smoking. Now on the roll my own due to the cost.

Surely vaping is a hell of a lot less harmful than smoking tobacco and offers a way of giving that up.

Laws a illogical and stupid. It's the same with marijuana, all the evidence suggests it's less harmful than Alcohol yet it's illegal while alcohol is feely available. Thou I concede that smoking marijuana may be harmful to the respiratory system, more recently I given some that was rather rough to smoke so I have put into carrot cake and found it quite pleasant.

Hinddog, where did you get your vaporiser? And do let us know how it's going for you
