    Don't expect the Brazilian government to buy anything. The whole political scene is a total mess and they have other priorities at the moment.

    Vale buying MBN might be a possibility, but the way MBN is at the moment it will be better for Vale to let it die and then grab whatever it needs at the firesale. Why buy anything now? Let MBN die and then act. Why would Vale incur in labour conflicts by buying MBN now? They would want MBN to clear the deck of any liabilities before they offer anything.
