    To clarify.

Spiritual enlightment, freedom and transformation come from deep insight and familiarity with selflessness.

But being spiritually whole requires more than mere selflessness. It is much broader than that.

In Zen Buddhism, for example, there is a set of teachings called the Ten Oxherding Pictures.

The experience of selflessness is the 8th stage. The 9th stage, called "returning to the source" is a more grounded insight into reality. The 10th stage is called "returning to the marketplace", which means being able to dwell in harmony with the world and its conventions.

Richard's website is about departure from the world and its conventions and departure from 'self centredness'. These are path beginnings but not the 'return'.

When one 'returns to the marketplace' one has a different vision than the vision one held in the spiritual kindergarten.

    Best wishes
