Hey isn't the 51% ownership rule only applicable to QAN or is it all Aussie airlines? Not quite sure of this.

Anyone know much about REX backers? - just a thought - could the Sing's exercise a t/o on VBA via REX? sounds a bit like the tail wagging the dog, but there's more than one way to skin a cat (please excuse the pun as I quite like cats).

MarsBars - Emirates has my attention also - the middle east must have by now realised that the US is well and truly stuffed - would be looking for somewhere else to park some dough - makes Aus/ Asia a huge target IMO
