Qantas passengers are still serviced better than Virgin imho..
I think that whilst Virgin is definitely picking up market and filling planes (or the market is getting bigger or less flights) you still cant go past Qantas.
Virgin staff appear to be also getting tired..

That said, I am getting really peeved at flying from Melb to Perth on Qantas to find I am on Jetstar on the way home.. really peeved.. as such if I am flying the east coast I have started to use Virgin.. but not convinced and will probably revert.. as much for the check-in and lounge as anything.

Cost wise there is not a lot of difference now (add in cost of snacks etc).

However it is good to see that Virgin is part of the pack now and has to be considered.
