let me ask you if you have a choice (unlike the bus) between q, jetstar, Virgin and tiger.

I will discount tiger due to lack of travel times and locations and compare the rest.

If is is simply transport (again i will ignore the safety as all would agree these are all level in australia) you might try the cheapest then compare schedule (i would argue these are almost equalising). At the end of the day if you are happy with a lower level of service which by nature includes 'the experience' then simply pick the cheapest.

IMHO i would prefer to pick the most convenient and the one that offers the best value for money which has led me to fly Virgin in all segments (both short haul and long haul).

Nothing worse than getting caught in the friday rush and putting up with the old do it my way or get off approach i got from q.
