VeCommerce Limited (ASX:VCM), a global leader in the provision of
natural language speech recognition (NLSR) and voice enabled
e-commerce solutions, today announced that it has been awarded a
contract by one of Australia's leading share registries.

Utilising the latest in communications and speech recognition
technology, VeCommerce will provide a voice enabled self-service
solution to automate a number of routine 'over-the-phone' shareholder
enquiries.

The solution will be developed within VeCommerce's highly flexible
FirstContact architecture, using speech recognition software provided
by Nuance Communications along with communications technology from
Aculab plc.
