I had a golf bag in which I had left 2 ham rolls for several weeks. When I found them and threw them out they were liquid, but fortunately for me there was only one slippage stain, about the size of a five cent piece.
On the first green the wind was blowing from where I left my bag and all 4 of us got just a small whiff, it was bad, very bad, just from a tiny stain.
At the end of the round I took my bag home (usually stored) for a wash, which I did. No improvement, I put deodoriser, good smelly stuff, the wifes perfume, scrubbed it again, did all sorts of things, drenched it in WD40 (Dunno, was at hand) nothing worked. You could get a whiff at anytime, not good. My group were worried standing over putts just incase they got a sniff.
Eventually I took the only action my playing mates let me have, and chucked it in the skip.
    Don't mess with ham!!
