The mother-in-law thing was meant as a joke. I too loved my m-i-l. But the cremation part was real and serious. How can they allow the damn thing to be built in the middle of town without proper enviromental consideration. The mighty big flue in the centre shower everything and everyone with thick black soot. Pity all those living around that building. I went into the crematorium as a Chinese and came out as a black Indian. After so many years of cleaning, I still think I have some sort of ashes hidden in some crevices on my body. Next time when any of you guys travel around Asia, beware of the black soot. It is not necessary volcanic ash or forest burn off. Don't say I didn't warn you.
