IF?? there is a market in USA for less stringent standards for commercial vehicles then providing the manufacturers then also produce a right hand drive version then OK
Currently the importer of those big RAM trucks (with the support of USA engineers) ships in left hand drive models and converts them to right hand drive in Australia. They separate the body from the chassis, fit steering and controls along with a new dash.
So the future for that importer might mean buying credits from ev makers and putting up the price or also bringing in a line of fuel efficient vehicles to complement their range of big trucks or both.
