There is nothing anti-american about my post. I do not know how you could draw that conclusion.

I lived as a child though that period in Berlin. The Luftbrcke was not solely an USA effort, British, French and Canadian forces contributed and even German pilots were subcontracted to fly.

My point re politics is: Without that event the Russians would have taken over the 3 non-Russian sectors of Berlin. As history shows, the Russians laid the foundation for the Wall soon after by creating the DDR which followed the creation of the BDR and the Deutschmark which led to the Wirtschaftswunder.

If I was you, I would THINK before I accuse a fellow poster of ant-anything !!!!!!!!!
