Verde's Potash Rock

Verde’s Potash bearing rock is distributed over an area approximately 100km x 6km at 20m to 80m thick. The rock is a green slate, formed by metamorphism of sedimentary rocks composed of quartz, feldspar, muscovite, and microcline. Verde’s potash rock is a lithological unit within the “Bambui Group” of the “Serra da Saudade” formation; neoproterozoic in age. The predominant potash minerals are muscovite and microcline.

At this very early stage, we are potentially looking at a deposit with similar grades to Verde, similar thickness but around a third the strike length. Width is impossible to really tell but probably around a third again.

As a really rough guess (I appreciate this is pie in the sky stuff) however I will come out an make a wild guess of 300MT @ 7.5% K20. What that's worth, who knows.

It will however be numerous years if this is ever going to be mined, however it definitely has some potential and could one day be worth a lot of money when the emergence of the emerging middle class demand better quality foods and fertilizer prices go through the roof.
