    • Surveying company Veris has sold its advisory business, Elton Consulting, for $13 million
    • Elton is being sold to WSP Australia, but founder Brian Elton will remain a Director on the Veris board
    • The sale lets Veris focus on its two main businesses in surveying and IT communications
    • This is the first big announcement since Michael Shirley became Veris' CEO last month
