If you want to compare resources to financials its about comparing prospects the growth in the developing nations of Asia to the prospects of increasing credit growth in the Anglo economies.
The health of our own financials are irrelevant to the resource sector, except as a competing destination for investment funds. I know where I'd rather invest.
