    No they didn't damage the reservoir, they just allowed the well to flow to quickly so allowing the water to cone up.

    A different completion method would have resulted in a more stead if some what slower oil recovery, say 8,000 to10,000 bopd for a longer period rather than 15,000 plus for no time at all.
