Hi Folks, I recently jumped on board after I saw the near map logo on the proposal for a solar installation on my house including a energy estimate with a return on investment etc etc. I was a little sceptical given my roof had three different pitches and at some minor shading. After three months of operation the monthly estimate of solar generation has been exactly hit (plus or minus 1% accuracy) which I find pretty amazing with all the variables involved. So voting with the feet I pulled the trigger around a month ago and bought an initial stake which is looking pretty okay at the moment but in it for the long term as I see so many applications for the technology the sky's the limit…
