I knew there was an entity called GeoScape, but the original information mentioned GeoSpace - "Israeli 3D mapping startup GeoX has signed a deal with GeoSpace, an Australian government geo-mapping firm."

GeoScape has been around for a long time. I think it may have had its roots in AURISA (Australian Urban & Regional Systems Association), of which I was a member in the 1980s. Most of the AURISA members were people interested in GIS who worked for State electrical and water utilities, and State agencies interested in mapping. Cadastral mapping was the main interest, and there was a lot of discussion to overlay that information with information on electrical, water and sewerage information.
