Geoscape data is used to generate insights across the insurance, architecture, engineering and construction, telecommunications, energy and emergency services sectors and is available through APIs, a self-service portal and a network of partners.
Now if the insurance, architecture, engineering and construction services can already and probably are already using Near Map services, why the hell is our government duplicating the offering to an over seas entity. Also most of these services are state based or privately based companies. Sorry, I really don't get why are hard earned is being spent here.
