The polls weren't really that wrong the margin wasn't actually that big and it all came down to minor party preferences.
The biggest move would have been with which way the large undecided proportion of voters swing at the booths.
Brexit & Trump have nothing to do with it - never likely to be accurate in regions without compulsory voting.
