This will now take a very long time IMHO.
A withdrawal of application for scientific opinion means that when and if the new data is collated (that could take months if not years) then the 210 day process before the EMA starts fresh (and we know how long that takes in reality). Well it appears that the EMA would not be forced into a position by the courts to accept VG as a device and have used every 'legal' tactic they could muster to delay and ultimately make it virtually impossible to receive a positive opinion.

IMHO the company should now cut the European ties and go all out in the US. There appears to be too much bad blood now between us and the EMA. The US has already classified VG as a "biologic" rather than a device and will have clear requirements (although lengthy and expensive) to test it and bring it to market. I believe this is now the best pathway.

Re the share price, again IMHO (and please do your own research) there will be other announcements about what the EMA requires, there will be at least 1 credit raising to get the fund for US trials and my guess (and it's only that) is that the SP will drift lower.

With a great deal of disappointment I am out for the time being but will continue to watch and see what pathways the company chooses and at some stage in the future I may buy back in.

GLTA - particularly the long term holders.
