LightHouse, you know where the price of Mains Retail Electricity is going in the next 5 years don't you? And you know during this time CFU will increase the Lifetime of it's Fuel Cell and possibly even slightly increase it's efficiency too? The funny thing about the International Energy Agency is that they ALWAYS underestimate future fossil fuel prices (always) and they ALWAYS overestimate future production/availability. I don't doubt that Utilities will have to DOUBLE the Retail Mains Grid price from it's current level by 2015. Not only are Utilities having to expand/replace significant sections of the Mains Grid, but they have higher Coal prices (due to the Floods), higher Oil prices and higher production costs in general. None of these inflationary pressures will reduce in the years ahead (especially if World Oil Production 'Peaks' in aggregate).

Decentralised Energy is the Future. We will be forced to Embrace it. It's because Integrated Distribution achieves enormous economies-of-scale in Efficiency. You're simply getting more output for less input : ) it's a more intelligent system. And it's more secure because you're not relying on a handful of Coal-fired power stations for 80% of your Electricity needs.
