A question for our regulator - when is the capping of a company's share value to well below its real value, for the purposes of a cheap take over, not considered to be manipulation. Maybe we need a regulator that does the job that it is meant to do - An investigation into these goings on is well due - this is ASX wide and needs to be sorted out - As I ave mentioned previously, The market will end up loosing the retail investor - the initial capital funding from the retail investor is what assists a company through to manufacture / processing / production, not institutional funding. Without initial retail investment a lot of companies would not be listed on ASX today.
