My hypothesis on share trading activity in recent weeks/months is twofold (at least) and I think one of them will conclude today being that there have been a lot of holders washing their portfolios of higher priced POS shares to record some capital losses before 30 June and buying back in at new lows for them to reset their base (and offset some other gains elsewhere). Yes, I know that ATO pounce on this behavior but it happens.
We might actually start to see some more realistic price action in coming weeks.
