I think this is important because it's the start, and recognition, and acceptance, of the technology. Obviously as we progress there is to be reviews and adjustments and the appropriate levels of FIT applied.

From the decc site am i reading it correctly? This is a 10p subsidy payment for every kw produced by mchp. Plus an extra 3p (inflation linked) for every kw exported to the grid. So you get 10p if you use the power yourself, and 13p (and growing yearly) if you export the power to the grid.
It does look like a very good incentive.
