Very large Inferred Geothermal Resource for Green Rocks North Perth Basin Permits in power hungry region

Highlights


Very large geothermal resources at Green Rocks North Perth Basin Permits identified by
independent estimate.


Stored heat totalling over 1 million PJt (petajoules thermal) estimated in seven of Green
Rocks North Perth Basin Permits within a region of rapid power demand growth.


The Indicated Geothermal Resource (based on temperature data recorded in existing
wells within the target reservoir) is 26,000 PJt, easily sufficient to support a target of
100MW of power generation capacity.


Green Rock planning to define drilling targets in the first half of 2011.
