My grandfather was an original share holder back when it was founded in early 1900's. Probably about 1924.
His first cousin was Percy Christmas whose idea it was. His mother and my GF's were sisters.
Unfortunately my GF disposed of most of his holding during the depresssion days to keep the rural holdings going.
Has Woolies really only been public for 14 years?
