To claim that Deloitte doesn't prioritise audits is pretty far off the mark. I have completed a number of audits with the big four and they are all contractually bound to deliver. In the event they didn’t do what was contracted of them on time, you can sue them...... plain and simple.
Deloitte didn’t get to where they are by failing to complete audits on time. I hate to say it but it does smell when companies miss deadlines like this by such a large timeframe. Also, given where the company is at, this should be a simple audit.
