Atlantic Gold seems to be on the cusp of some major announcements re financing etc given Ron has indicated about a 1 year time frame for digging to commence.

An informative article in the Chronicle Herald Canada came out on Friday with very promising comments from Ron Hawkes about the potential for the resource to be much bigger than they are letting on.
highlights include:
"The project represents a potential production of about 900,000 ounces of gold over its projected 10-year lifespan and we have reliable information the deposit is much larger," said Hawkes.

"The gold is there and is minable and we have government approval. After seven years of tending to details, this project is ready to move into production."

Unlike other gold deposits in the province that are typically found in quartz, the deposits at the Touquoy site in Moose River and the Cochrane Hills site, about 80 kilometres away, are located in mud rock buried under glacial till.

"This allows for a very accurate assessment of the deposit," he said.
