Agree, always a good idea to follow the smart players & they are trading well below NTA.
KIL already owns POTA & P&O Stevedores not sure if they could pick up many more wharf assets as it is a 2 horse race, ACCC may get cranky + I can't see AIO giving them a break. I am also not sure the union would like to see them with the whip hand on the wharves either.
I would be looking at the asset sell off in QLD, they are selling the PORT OF BRISBANE and QUEENSLAND RAIL (in pieces if they can get away with it) + they already have a relationship with QR & know the business.
I am sure KIL would love to compete against AIO in rail considering there recent history with the PN joint venture.
