What is pi%^ing me off is the anti uranium attitude adopted by The age bbespaper here in Melbourne. Ive read an editorial, a few opinion articles and a few letters to the editor all opposing nuclear energy on the basis that it can lead to nuclear war and we can have another Hiroshima.
I wrote a letter myself a few days ago to the Age (first time Ive ever written a letter to the editor in my life) but of course my letter was nowhere to be seen the following morning.
It was a bloody good letter too. Alot of Australians are uninformed of the whole Uranium issue and still have that old school mentality that Uranium mining will lead to the world's demise when in fact it may be the only resource on Earth that can restore stability in this world.
NAyway as long as the PM, Ian McFarlane and co are flying the Uranium flag, Uranium has a glowing future LOL in Australia
