I dunno about the legal issue, but the share price action is not strange, and though it may indicate insider selling ahead of bad news, I think it is more likely that a few avm watchers took a punt on the quarterly profit running the price, and have sold out as the market follow-through buying never eventuated.

I can't see, after all the years of disappointments and setbacks, avm price ever running ahead of actual cash returns, and maybe a dividend payment, and even that can take a year to be properly valued by the market (remember BSG).

It is surprising to me how important broker interest is to the price of a stock, and they are such an ignorant lot, stampeding too late into stocks, and too late out of them.

There is just a lack of interest from the market, even now a small investor like me would run the price to 62c to get in, and 50c to get out.

Like NT used to say, if you like the mining return potential, stay in - share price exitement should follow one day. Either way it is a tough one to hold, and you can often be trapped in it due to lack of bids - the same applies to the difficulty of building a position, and I think the stock has enormous potential to run if the market does take an interest.
