I wouldn't hold my breath for a positive market reaction. There is no doubt that MWR is basically totally ignored by the market. MWR is probably 100% better placed right now than what it was 12 months ago, yet the share price is lower - explain that one!
I still expect big things from MWR, but I think it will take about 2 years to see real value in the MWR share price. I still have a 2 year price target of over $1.
It will be interesting to see what the announcement is, as I wasn't aware of another government contract being out to tender... is anyone else aware of anything? So possibly not a large contract in dollar terms, but possibly an important one for strategic reasons. Also, given the length of time the WA Government contract has take to get traction, I wouldn't hold my breath for much to happen... as Government Departments are notoriously slow to do anything - even once the decision has been made.
This stock is basically illiquid... I also expect it to come into some pressure for tax loss selling coming up to 30 June given how much it has decreased in the year. May be a good opportunity to buy more, although I have plenty at the moment.
Anyway, here's hoping that it is a great announcement, and that I am proven wrong for immediate price response.
