Thomas E. Jurgensen, Tom, J. D, M.S is a Co-founder and IP Counsel of Urigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (formerly Urigen N.A., Inc.). Mr. Jurgensen is the Founder and Principal of Catalyst Law Group, APC. He founded Inverseon, Inc. in 2004. He is also a Co-Founder of Urigen. He co-founded Allylix, Inc. in 2002, and served as its Non-Executive Chairman. Mr. Jurgensen has over 17 years experience in biotechnology, biomedical and pharmaceutical law and business. Prior to Catalyst, he served as Vice President and General Counsel at the Salk Institute, as Secretary and General Counsel at Molecular Biosystems, as Associate General Counsel at Ligand Pharmaceuticals, as Intellectual Property Counsel at 3M Corporation, and served as Associate with Merchant & Gould in Minneapolis. Mr. Jurgensen obtained his J.D. from the University of Oregon, his M.S. from Iowa State University and B.S. in Biology and Chemistry, from the University of Wisconsin.

He is a founder of Inverseon and as you can read above has co-founded two other companies, one of which is Urigen that had progressed it's product past phase III trials.

Urigen specializes in the design and implementation of innovative products for patients with urological ailments including, specifically, the development of innovative products for amelioration of Painful Bladder Syndrome (PBS), Urethritis, Nocturia and Over Active Bladder (OAB).

The other company he co-founded is a biotech ,Allylix Inc., a renewable chemicals company, develops terpene products and their derivatives for the flavor and fragrance, food ingredient, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and biofuel markets. Its flavor and fragrance solutions include nootkatone and valencene. The company also provides consumer ingredients and specialty chemicals. Allylix, Inc. was founded in 2002 and is based in San Diego, California.

Inverseon looks like it has a strong board with a variety of experience in establishing companies and getting them into commercialisation phase. I think that this merger will complement Cbio and what we have to offer.
