I am completely biased, but the first white label agreement imo could set a precedent for the entire US fundraising industry..?
New competitors (at the start up phase) have emerged in the US mobile donations space since ACU relisted however they all require credit card details as part of the sign up process or are still relying on sms messaging to raise funds. ACU boasts first mover advantage, however their unique giving platform and exclusivity agreement with the Mobile Giving Foundation and mobile aggregators imo will hopefully give them a distinct advantage over their competitors. Furthermore, ACU has access to all of MGF's US medium to large sized clients.
Given its the first of it's type, no doubt lawyers will have their fill during contractual negotiations. Expecting once we get our first while label agreement imo, "the fear of missing out" may play its part across several fundraising sectors.
