Goblin, a few days ago you really aroused my sympathy in your thread "my dog is dying" . Now, after your remarks above, if your dog does die I'll feel very sorry, but will hope you do not get another dog.
Having a dog is a commitment to look after him/her absolutely imo. If you're not up for paying for veterinary care, then probably best to leave dog ownership to those who are.
