I don't mind if Andrew Dale is smart or what he invests in, that's no interest or business of mine.
As I say guys, primary research - you better know what you own or are short from the ground up.
It's your money on the line - the CEO will do OK, the analyst will manage it for a fee whatever the outcome.
I found that the SGH recommendation to buy just quietly dropped off the Craigs Investment Partners research section without a whisper. People thought they were smart - to be clear I am not drawing a glib parallel between these companies.
VGI was a common factor though.
If you don't know what you own then using the Fish analogy you are another sheep about to get a fleecing just as winter hits.
