As much as I would love to see VGW publicly listed on a major stock exchange because it could send the stock to the moon if listed in favourable market conditions, a trade sale may not be a bad thing because it could possibly generate a larger price. In part, this is because trade buyers will value your company on the basis of its likely future revenues, while IPO investors tend to price companies more conservatively and the IPO process is more expensive and risky.
