    no I didn't touch the tarriff pricing on my cashflows, only the increase in gas prices. I was probably stating the obvious but the project is highly sensitive to gas prices!

    Gas prices may actually come back to bite Labour on the arse.
    - Labour have reduced gas production and development in the UK North Sea.
    - This leads to increased imported gas at higher prices and increasing gas prices.
    - Increased gas prices then improve UK gas project economics.

    Gas futures are all 100p+. It could be seasonal, it could be the Ukraine, it could be short term supply issues. Or it could partly be the market pricing in the cost of all this imported gas.

    I'm still trying to fully understand what capital allowance may be accessible however if they can get to 80-85% capex allowance the project starts looking good. I think part of the reason the O&G independents are fighting Labour so hard is to get some certainty around tax. Given the mess around tax they should push for any concessions they can get to be grandfathered in the same way Norway has done.
