Just adding to the above comment, the tax relief comes in 3 parts: corporate tax, investment allowances and capital allowances. It’s an incredibly complex system which is why the market needs to know before any investment decisions are made. If I’m right that they mirror Norway , the govt gets a win but there’s still plenty to incentivise investment, so I’d suggest not getting too down on the whole thing right now.
