The chart of new Covid19 cases for Victoria looks 'toppy' and I'd love think that was case. However, the trend remains UP.
My fine-tuned version [acknowledges rising vaccination rates] of a fourteen day moving average for the daily reproduction rate has now fallen to 1.1058 - that's still equivalent to a 10.58% exponential increase, day in and day out.
It's massively lower than the 2.2190 reproduction rate [ie. 121.9% increase per day] of August 6th - thank goodness for that!
