What you mentioned Businesses are the key here and from the first opening what I saw they either didn't care or didn't understand how to open safely! I agree we can open safely if we get the business community to chip in instead of complaining all the time! like a mate said you can't rely on governments for everything! And the case of hotel quarantine, age care was a great example of that! People that can help with the situation are not doing their bit in these areas! Government can put laws in to try and fix things but you can't control 25 million people on a shoe string and low resources! The ring of steel is a great example there where the smart people knew how to cross it was wait till it rains and governments knew this as well! My point is no one has come up with a plan to really be covid safe we just have states that haven't had much of come through because of bush fires that kept tourists away and they want to keep it that way by keeping borders closed for how long who knows?
