Just watching the news tonight (22/3) and it was highlighted that property investors in Victoria selling off their investment properties . What a surprise ' The Brain dead pollies of Vic Govt . seems to think by taxing an investment property that that will free up homes for tenants . Firstly that will just reduce the rental properties even lower than the 1 percent presently available . Secondly that' is already forcing property owners to flee to other states further reducing the housing rental stock in Vic. Thirdly most investment properties being sold are not being purchased for rental but rather actual owner occupiers, further reducing the rental stock available .
Victoria , The place NOT to invest in .
