On the 7:30 report tonight, Leigh Sales was questioning Barnaby Joyce about the Victorian Government's claim that there were no land based gas reserves, so therefore the moratorium on gas exploration is not contributing to the gas supply shortage. How absurd is it to claim that you need a ban on an activity that would be pointless anyway, if your premise is a fact. Bogus logic.
Would have been nice if Barnaby could have replied to Leigh that Lakes Oil at least, is prepared to use private sector money money to test the "no gas anyway" justifications.
