Our legal system is such that the judge needs to be able to see a witness's face in the witness box , the judge must also be able to see their reactions when they are cross examined, --in this case the wife may well be called to give evidence!
Islamic leaders ( and the wife ) as usual are using the occasion to push their agenda and fly their flag!------shouting! " that the woman's human rights are being violated"-----their usual MO to cause disruption and division wherever they can!--under Sharia Law, women/girls have no rights!------unlike Australian law where women's rights are protected!
