I live in Melbourne and began watching Collingwood at their traditional home Victoria Park.

1970 was my first GF. Stood on a wooden tomato box as a 12 year old and watched No. 7 for Carlton destroy us in the third quarter. Back in those days there was only one narrow footbridge over the railway line to get to the Richmond railway station.

I come from the wrong side of the tracks and was given nothing. What I have has been earned the hard way.

I now mentor young people starting out in business. My latest mentee was drowning in debt 12 months ago. He has worked really hard and now is turning over $150k a year, paid all his creditors up to date and with some help gotten rid of all the +20% interest loans and consolidated into a 6% loan. He is now able to pay himself a wage. He is also in a much better state of mental health.
