A statement Kathy Sherriff made public on 10th December 2019 -
"Tanya Plibersek has came out saying rape victims need to report to police,
blah , blah, blah.
I have done everything you asked a rape victim to do, Tanya Plibersek. An ALP
Prime Ministers daughter has recently gone public about the sexual assaults
she endured by a leading member of Victorian ALP, a couple of weeks ago 15
women from Victorian ALP went public about the sexual assaults and constant
sexual harassment and bullying they have had to endure from male members
of Victorian ALP, and I have had a constant battle for justice, for I was raped by
your mate, Bill Shorten in 1986. I was only 16 years old.
During the ALP 2019 Federal Election campaign my rapist along with another
ALP candidate, made jokes about rape.
DO YOU THINK RAPE IS A JOKE TOO, MS PLIBERSEK?
The lead investigator for my case, Senior Detective Georgia Connors, passed
my case over to her superior, Inspector Stephen Wilson. Since doing so
Georgia Connors had blocked me from sending emails to her, and VICPOL
Sex Crime Unit NEVER answers their phone.
Today I tried to send Inspector Stephen Wilson, Victoria Sex Crime Unit, an
email asking to take advantage of HIS offer and make time available for me to
see him personally, so I could ask him anything I needed answered, in relation
to my rape case. I received an automated response from Inspector Wilson's
email saying, he was now on annual leave until he takes his retirement and
therefore no longer works for VICPOL Sex Crimes.
WHERE DO I GO NOW, TANYA PLIBERSEK!"
